Protective PPF film is made to protect against mechanical damage from small stones, paint damage and scratches. Ceramic coating, which is liquid, is intended to protect against chemical road damage or ultraviolet rays and to make vehicle maintenance easier by preventing dirt from strongly bonding to the body surface. Ceramic coating is not designed to protect the vehicle from mechanical damage such as stone chips, tree branches or even a minor accident. Both products belong to the paint protection category, but they perform different functions.
Scratch resistance
The film does not yellow, does not crack and is resistant to various environmental effects. It protects well against aggressive external impact: scratches, stone chips and abrasion.
UV protection - The protective film prevents ultraviolet rays from reaching the vehicle paint, so the colour stays rich and glossy for a long time.
Hydrophobic effect - PPF gives the vehicle hydrophobic properties. Rain drops run off the body like from glass, making the vehicle easier to maintain.
Brighter body colour - Parts covered with protective film gain a brighter, richer shine, so the vehicle keeps a fresh showroom look.
Self-healing - If the film surface is scratched, wash the vehicle with hot water or leave it in the sun. The film has advanced self-healing technology that absorbs minor impacts and scratches.
The film has an 8 mil polyurethane elastic layer that allows maximum protection of the wrapped surface.
